No, not automatically. You'll have to go back into your account and make sure they are filed when all
the state forms are available. TurboTax will not automatically file it
for you. You'll have to go through the process to file it when all your state forms are
available.

When all the state forms are available, you should first
print out and review the state return to make sure it is accurate before
filing. The return can change as the forms are released and modified for 2016.

State forms availability:
https://ttlc.intuit.com/questions/1908857-forms-availability-table-for-turbotax-state-except-busines...

If
you are planning on efiling the state return, you can't do so unless
you either efile it at the same time as the Federal return, or if you
efile it after the Federal return has already been efiled and accepted.

As for the Federal return, be aware there is some risk filing this early. The IRS will not start processing returns until January 23 (except
for a few test returns the IRS will pull early.). Any returns filed
early will just sit on TurboTax servers until then and cannot be
retrieved if you notice something wrong. You'd later have to file an
amended return.

You also must wait on any W-2's, 1099's, etc. to arrive first before filing.
And
starting this year, if you have EIC (earned income credit) or ACTC
(additional child tax credit), the IRS will not start releasing those
refunds until February 15.
Thank you for the information. I generally file them around this time every year since I've been working the job I have, but this is the first time I haven't had the state available to efile at the same time as the federal. The only one I actually waited for was the first year with the insurance change, which is a good thing I did, since I almost lost out on several hundred dollars if I had done it when I had originally set them all up.

Anyway, not going to go into a whole thing about it all, I'll just sit tight for a little bit. Thank you again, I appreciate it.
