If you got an e-file
reject email it means your return was rejected. The reason TurboTax still says
“pending” is that there’s a high demand on our servers. To resolve this, you’ll
need to check back at least 2-4 hours after receiving the rejected email.

But there’s no need to worry! Since you’ve already submitted your return before
the deadline, you won’t get any penalties even if you fix it tomorrow. The IRS
allows up to 5 business days after the tax file deadline for rejected returns
to be corrected and re-filed.
