They are just starting to distribute payments. They are releasing them by income, with the lowest income levels being the first to receive.

I called turbo tax on the 10th of april and filed for my stimulus just in case so they wouold have my direct deposit information.will i still receive my payment havent got it yet!!!

Go to this IRS get my payment website - https://www.irs.gov/coronavirus/get-my-payment

If you do not receive any other stimulus payments by January 15, 2021, then the stimulus payment for which you are eligible to receive will be entered on your 2020 federal tax return as a tax credit on Form 1040 Line 30.

The TurboTax program will ask about stimulus payments in the Federal Review section of the program.

I did not file in 2019,I only get SS. You said I did not have to file in 2019 as I was below level at only 13,000. What do I do now to get my stimulus? if I file for 2020,how do I do that with only SS as income and that is only way to receive stimulus.

If Social Security is your only income to be reported on a 2020 tax return then to e-file your tax return and receive the stimulus payment you need to -

Complete the Stimulus questions in the Federal Review section of the TurboTax program

Add $1 of interest income to your tax return, so that you can e-file.

Enter interest income in the Search box locate in the upper right of the program screen. Click on Jump to interest income

On the Form 1099-INT enter any name in the Received from: box. Enter $1 in Box 1
