I still can't find the download for TurboTax 2016 anywhere. Can't someone give us a link to that page where all previous year CD software can be downloaded?

Did you already buy and download 2016? And need to download it again?

Or do you want to buy 2016? 2016 is no longer available. They only sell and support the prior 3 years here,

Even if you find 2016 somewhere you don't be able to update it or download any state programs you might need.

Why do you need 2016? Do you need to open a .tax2016 data file?

TurboTax no longer sells nor supports 2016 software. Even if you can find it on eBay or some other site you will not be able to get the updates. It is also too late to get a tax refund for a 2016 return, but if you owe tax due you still need to pay with interest and penalties.

You can get the forms to prepare by hand and mail them in:

Refunds for tax years 2016 or earlier have been forfeited and will not be paid to you even if shown on the tax return form. But if you owe tax due, you will still have to pay, and you will be billed later for the interest and penalties owed.

When you mail a tax return, you need to attach any documents showing tax withheld, such as your W-2’s or any 1099’s. Use a mailing service that will track it, such as UPS or certified mail so you will know the IRS/state received the return.

Federal and state returns must be in separate envelopes and they are mailed to different addresses. Read the mailing instructions that print with your tax return carefully so you mail them to the right addresses.
