Is there a real solution for this? I've been on the phone with a specialist for 3 hours now and they finally admitted turbotax is "not very compatible" with windows 10. Their best suggestion is to find another PC/Mac that doesn't have windows 10. Seriously?? in 2018 you don't write your software to be compatible with windows 10??

It's a long shot, but if you want, you can try setting up a new user account as described in this web reference:
<a rel="nofollow" target="_blank" href="https://www.howtogeek.com/226540/how-to-create-a-new-local-user-account-in-windows-10/">https://www.howtogeek.com/226540/how-to-create-a-new-local-user-account-in-windows-10/</a>
Then sign in with the new user account and try to reinstall. The idea here is that sometimes the default user profile can become corrupted.
I've been using Windows 10 since it first came out in 2015 and haven't had any problem installing or running TurboTax every year since, so in my opinion it's not a program compatibility problem.
