If you drove for Uber and didn't qualify to receive a 1099-MISC tax form. The Company should have sent you a Tax Summary statement for tax purpose. Once, you have the Tax document, you will need to report it on your tax return.

Where to enter income from self-employment

Start from the main Tax Home page of your TurboTax Online account

Select Take me to my return

Click on the left side Federal tab

At the bottom page, select Add a line of work. First, you will need to create a business profile for the Uber business

Go through and select the answer to each interview page questions (see supporting screen page file attached)

Once you have set up the business profile, it will later ask for your income.

Then, you will be asked about your business expenses. To learn more about business expenses, see info here Rideshare
