      <description>&lt;P&gt;It is income for the year you actually got the money which is 2017.&amp;nbsp; IRS will match up the document to the 2017 return so report it on the 2017 return.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Then you&amp;nbsp;can Amend the 2016 and get a refund.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;
