      <description>&lt;P&gt;The question refers to all income earned in another state, not just W-2 income. The program is asking so that it can preload the other state's income tax software.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;But this doesn't mean you would be required to file a state return for that out of state income. That would depend on the filing requirements of the particular state that the income was earned in.&lt;/P&gt;</description>
