      <description>&lt;P&gt;That is for a State tax refund that you got in 2018 from the State 2017 return.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;If you itemized in 2017 on the Federal return it is income in 2018.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;To enter this in TurboTax (and TurboTax will help determine if this is taxable income or not, so don't worry)&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Go to:&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Federal Taxes&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Wages and Income&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I'll chose what i work on&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;scroll down to Other Common Income and the first one, State refunds is where this goes. &lt;BR /&gt;&lt;/P&gt;</description>
