not sure which from the list I should select to report unemployment I have a 1099 G when I try to enter it this is the first question it asks me and I have to pick one to continue please help

The questions indicates that you are in the incorrect data entry for the unemployment compensation, form 1099-G (you have somehow selected Other 1099-G income, not unemployment).

Please follow the steps below to enter Unemployment benefits, form 1099-G:

1. Federal Taxes

2. Wages & Income, Jump to Full list

3. Scroll down to Unemployment

4. Select Unemployment and Paid Family Leave

thank-you for that! it took me to the other 1099 income as well. had me sign up for the deluxe version, smh..
