Ok, actually that was helpful, but I realized I didn't ask the right question. My ex filed and claimed my son in error. My ex sent in an amended return without my son, can I e-file once the IRS gets that corrected? Or do I have to mail in a paper return anyway>

The IRS may take up to 9 weeks to process your wife's amended return. You should not wait and should file by mail. Hope this helps!

The OK return says not to mail it in because it was filed electronically. What are the addresses for the Federal and OK returns? It is frustrating because the site doesn't show the addresses or give very good guidance when the returns are rejected, imo.
