just a guess here but you might try working on another device with better screen capabilities.i know the IRS procedures do not specifically verify the exact device your using. ex. when prompted to check your email or messages for the six digit auth number , you could be working on an unrelated dev ice but have your phone right next to , get the code off of it and enter it into the prompt on the device your working on, it will carry on seemlessly
