      <description>&lt;P&gt;&lt;B&gt;Yes&lt;/B&gt;, there are certain rules. &lt;BR /&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Since she is your daughter, and she is not under 19, she would need to be a student in order to be considered your &lt;B&gt;"qualifying child".&lt;/B&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;If she is &lt;B&gt;not a student&lt;/B&gt;, she would need to have &lt;B&gt;earned less than $4,050&lt;/B&gt; in 2016 to be considered your &lt;B&gt;"qualifying relative". &lt;/B&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;For more detailed information, please click on the link below:&lt;BR /&gt;
