      <description>&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;You can enter the amount applied to your 2018 tax by following these steps:&lt;/P&gt;

&lt;UL&gt;
 &lt;LI&gt;In TurboTax, open your tax
     return&lt;/LI&gt;
 &lt;LI&gt;Click on &lt;B&gt;Federal&lt;/B&gt; in the left-hand column, then &lt;B&gt;Deductions
     &amp;amp; Credits&lt;/B&gt; on
     top of the screen &lt;/LI&gt;
 &lt;LI&gt;Scroll down to All tax
     breaks, locate
     the section named &lt;B&gt;Estimates and Other Taxes Paid&lt;/B&gt; and click Show more &lt;/LI&gt;
 &lt;LI&gt;Click on Start next to &lt;B&gt;Income taxes Paid&lt;/B&gt;
&lt;/LI&gt;
&lt;LI&gt;On the next year, click &lt;B&gt;Yes&lt;/B&gt;
&lt;/LI&gt;
 &lt;LI&gt;On the next page, click Start next to &lt;B&gt;2017 refund applied to 2018 federal taxes&lt;/B&gt; (see
attached screenshot)&lt;/LI&gt;
