      <description>&lt;P&gt;&lt;B&gt;Yes&lt;/B&gt;, you can claim her as a dependent if she did not provide more than half of her own support in 2018. She does not have to live with you.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Time away at college (even for the full year) is counted as time living with you.&lt;/P&gt;</description>
