Yes, include those codes from your W-2 when you enter it. This information maybe needed for determining other limits in your return or qualify you for tax credits such as the Credit for Retirement Savings Contributions (Form 8880).

Enter the
information from your W-2 using the codes and amounts in Box 12. If there is
nothing in a box, don't enter anything including zeros. Just leave it blank.

If you have more
than one entry in Box 12, enter the information for the first line (Box 12a),
then click "Add another row" (see attached image "AddAnotherRowBox12") and enter the
next line of information for Box 12. Continue adding rows until you have
recorded all of your Box 12 entries.

You can see
information about the codes for box 12 of Form W-2 in the article below.

This is the first time I've had these codes on my W2. I've read similar questions and answers that say these are just for our own personal information. Do I need to enter these on my w2?

Yes. Enter the W-2 exactly as printed, assuming the issuer actually filled it out correctly. If the issuer did not fill it out in accordance with IRS rules, you'll get an error. Just let us know the error and we can help you deal with it.
