topic Turbo software problem. not helping my question. in Get your taxes done using TurboTax

Why the system keep asking me for Denpendent`s ssn when I run smart check? I could not even file my tax if I skip this part. I did not claim any dependents in my return.

Go back and make sure there's no blank entry in your Dependents section. To check in an online edition:

1. Click My Info on the left-hand side menu.

2. Scroll down to the dependent.

3. Click the trash can by the one you want to get rid of.

The dependent section should be empty, if you're not claiming anyone.

To check in a Desktop version:

2. Click Edit next to the name of the person you’d like to change.

3. Make any changes and click Continue.
