If you have not paid for the online edition you are using, have not filed your tax return or registered the Free edition, then you can clear your return and start over with a lower priced edition. Click on Tax Tools on the left side of the program screen while working on the 2017 online tax return. Click on Clear & Start Over.

I already opted for the free version so it isn't letting me start over, im not 100 percent sure why I cant efile, nothing has changed since last year except the fact I have 2 more W2's to file

The forms and schedules included with your tax return may have not yet been finalized so that you can file your tax return. Click on Review and there will be a list of forms and schedules with the dates they will be available.

The IRS will not be accepting any type of 2017 tax return until January 29, 2018

The IRS will hold all 2017 tax returns that have a tax refund which includes EIC and/or the Additional Child Tax Credit until mid-February. They will release the tax refunds in late February if there are no errors on the tax return.
