I have to file to 2 states, I need to change my free version of the state how do I do this?

With the desktop software there is a charge to e-file any state return (you can mail in the state return to avoid the e-file charge). You get one free State program with the desktop software. If you downloaded the wrong free state program you would need to contact TurboTax support.

I did contact Support and it was an endless loop of phone queries. I was never able to talk to someone.

I called "1-800-446-8848".

I went to file my Federal and State taxes and it wants to charge me for the State which is supposed to come free with (one time).

I loaded a cd and it asked me to identify a state of residence and a state of non-residence. How do I reverse the state resident - non-resident designation?
