      <description>&lt;P&gt;It sounds like somehow, TurboTax recorded that the entry was made twice.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Your best course of action is to delete all traces of the form that reported tax-exempt interest - the 1099-DIV or 1099-B and all related worksheets. To do this for TurboTax Online, follow the instructions below. Then type the form in by hand.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;If that doesn't solve your problem, please write back.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;

      <description>&lt;P&gt;I figured out what is happening on the income screen for the 1099 div total. &amp;nbsp;It is NOT doubling the total. &amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp;It is taking the box 11 tax exempt interest dividends and adding it to the box 1 taxable dividends. &amp;nbsp;Should it be doing that? &amp;nbsp;It is adding the box 1 (taxable) and box 11 &amp;nbsp;tax free dividend amounts and summing it on the income screen. &amp;nbsp;It did NOT do this last year. &amp;nbsp;Can you confirm if this is a bug.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>
