If you're importing a W-2 and can't get past the Control Number (Box D) questions, click "skip import" then manually add your W-2.

When manually adding a W-2, no control number is needed; just skip the questions and leave the field blank.

If you get an error message when e-filing with an empty Box D, enter any 10 numbers using the following format: 5 digits, space, 5 digits (i.e. 12345 67890).
