In order to get a transcript of your return, you would need to go to the IRS website. It cannot be done through your account. You can go to the IRS Get Transcript page and choose an option: online (same-day) or by mail (5-10 days).

TurboTax cannot provide you with a transcript, only the IRS can do that. If you filed with TurboTax you should be able to print out a copy of your returns. If you used the Online version you need to be in the same account you used to prepare your prior year returns. If you've forgotten your UserID or password try our account recovery process, it will give you a list of accounts.

If you used the Desktop version for your prior year returns, your returns would only be on the computer you used to prepare the returns. TurboTax does not have copies of returns prepared with the Desktop software.

You have to access your own account and/or print it for yourself using exactly the same account and user ID that you used when you prepared the return.

Many people have multiple TT accounts and forget how to access them. Log out of the account you are in now.

SAVE YOUR TAX RETURN !

EVERY year before mid-October you should save a copy of your tax return as a pdf and print a copy of it for your records. That way you will not be searching online frantically when you need it for a lender, FAFSA forms, your next tax return, etc.

@bbtheking41 No. You can get a free transcript of your tax return from the IRS:

https://www.irs.gov/individuals/get-transcript

Or---if you want a copy of your tax return you have to print it yourself. TurboTax will not mail or email it to you.
