noticed that Sch A is not filed. and Line 8 shows 26,600 instead of 24,000.

So my taxable income is reported short by 2,600. This was passed by "Smart Check" and Turbo tax filed it. I do not want to wait for IRS to bill me for the error.

I have to pay additional amount.

It appears that TurboTax believes that both of you are 65...

It appears that TurboTax believes that both of you are 65 or over or are blind or disabled (you would have entered this in the My Info or Personal Info section).

In this case, the Standard Deduction is $24,000 plus $1,300 for each taxpayer who is 65 or older, blind, or disabled. In your case, it appears to be both of you ($24,000 plus $1,300 plus $1,300 = $26,600).

If this is the case, then your return is correct.

If one or both of you is not 65 or older, blind, nor disabled, then please go back to the My Info or Personal Info (depends on the product), and review your answers.
