    <description>&lt;P&gt;That is your choice. &amp;nbsp; If you have any sort of "carryover" amounts you really should start over and transfer 2024 to 2025. &amp;nbsp; If you do not have that sort of data, then it is your own decision whether you want to enter everything from scratch because you did not transfer at the beginning.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;I think I missed the opportunity to import last year's return but went ahead anyway. Would it be a good idea to start a new return and import last year's return even though I am well into the current return?&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;&lt;a href="https://ttlc.intuit.com/community/user/viewprofilepage/user-id/6066686"&gt;@noralb&lt;/a&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;If you decide to start over and transfer the prior-year data into 2025, you also need to know where the *.tax2024 data file is located.&amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp;If you are using Online TurboTax, are you sure the 2024 data file is in the same account that you are using for 2025?&amp;nbsp; You can go to the Tax Home and look in the section "Your Tax Returns &amp;amp; Documents".&amp;nbsp; Does it show that a 2024 return was filed in that same account?&amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp;If there's no evidence of the 2024 return in that account, then you likely have multiple accounts.&amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp;Or was the 2024 return prepared in desktop TurboTax?&lt;/P&gt;</description>
