I have a telephone number entered, but continue to receive the error message when attempting to file. I am unable to proceed past this message.

I have had my cell number entered for receiving text messages. I just changed it to my home number and have entered the code provided on two separate occasions and continue to receive the error message. I am still unable to proceed past the phone number message in my attempts to efile.

There are two areas in TurboTax to enter your phone number. Follow these steps:

Change phone number under Personal Info:

Sign into your account and click "Take me to my return"
Select the Personal Info tab (top left of program)
Select Edit next to your Mailing address and change your phone number

Change phone number under Account Settings:

Sign into your account and click "Take me to my return"
Select My Account (top of program) then Account Settings from dropdown menu
Select the SECURITY tab (on the left under PROFILE)
Select Edit next to Phone and change your phone number
