One of them is to help keep your information secure, especially if you recently filed, updated your email, or signed in with a new account.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN style="background-color:transparent;color:#000000;font-size:14px;"&gt;If this is the case, you must wait for the hold to expire. TurboTax will automatically submit the return to the IRS afterward.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN style="background-color:transparent;color:#000000;font-size:14px;"&gt;Another reason is if you have already submitted your return, and it's in a&amp;nbsp;&lt;I&gt;“Pending”&amp;nbsp;&lt;/I&gt;status, this usually lasts 24–48 hours while the IRS decides to accept or reject the return.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;
