Long time paid user of Turbotax here.

Help line SUCKS big time.

I tried calling to help me with fixing errors during review. On my first attempt, I gave my number and got a call back but as soon as I picked up it was disconnected. This is not the first time I have experienced this. It seems to be a pattern.

Today, I called again but I reached out to Turbo tax based on a service code that was provided to me. As soon as I called the main line, I was asked if I had a code and when I gave it, I was told that it would be about a minute to get connected to an expert. Not bad I thought. But it was not true. I held on the call (my service code is 1775094433849) for 25 minutes listening to music before I disconnected.

I am thinking the unthinkable. Maybe time to move to another provider. I recommended turbotax to my son a couple of years ago but he bailed out this year citing the high cost and poor service as reasons. Time for me to move on.

Turbotax: Never take your customers for granted. We do have a choice.
