Over charged!

I selected the option to complete my taxes myself, which was clearly advertised at $69. However, I was ultimately charged $119. This is unacceptable.

I was provided with a refund link, but my request was denied without justification. I am being charged for a service I neither needed nor used, which is both unfair and misleading.

Additionally, repeatedly prompting users to select services throughout the process creates unnecessary confusion and appears to lead to unintended charges. I expect a refund for the price difference immediately.

If your TurboTax fees are higher than expected, you can reduce them by removing add-ons (BEFORE you e-file) :

Remove Premium Services
Remove MAX Defend & Restore
Remove a state
Remove PLUS Help & Support
Remove Pay With Your Refund

No one in the user forum can resolve a billing issue. If you have a question about your TurboTax fees or billing, make sure you use the word “billing” in your request for help. Do not use the word “refund.”
