Does 2025 Premier Desktop have option to import online w2 & 1099 forms? Doing my 1st import of these & plan to do 1st efile. Just downloaded TT2025, launched, ....transfered my 2024 return, scrolled to w2 & found all the previously manually inputted employer ID info already pre-filled. I didn't see any import online options. My screen doesn't seem to match what i'm finding in the Help Tips. I tried deleting w2 showing & add new w2, but still only had choice of manual or pdf input. Pls advise. thx

thx for the prompt & clear response...haven't got back on to give it a try. On a TT spt call, I was informed my desktop version may not have that feature & may need to pay @$20 to get that capability.

Yes, you can import 1099 forms with TurboTax Premier, including 1099-B, 1099-DIV, 1099-INT, and 1099-R from partnered financial institutions. You can import up to 1,500 transactions. Supported 1099s are generally imported by searching for "import" or navigating to the investment/income section. The payer just needs to be a TurboTax import partner.

And actually In the Desktop program you can use any version. All the Desktop programs have the same forms. You just get more help and guidance in the higher versions. So you can also import everything into Deluxe.
