If you used the TurboTax online editions for 2024 then you must sign onto the 2025 online edition with the exact same User ID you used to create the 2024 online account.

You "transfer" your 2024 tax file to start your 2025 tax return----do that transfer at the very beginning before you enter any 2025 information.
