Not all investment sales are required to be reported on Form 8949. It is possible that the missing investment sales you mention are listed directly on Schedule D. You can learn more in the instructions to Form 8949. One of the most common reasons for this is that you have a Form 1099-B wherein the cost basis has been reported to the IRS and there are no adjustments reported in boxes 1(f) or 1(g).

I have 4 different accounts with 1099-B's, The Capital Asset Sales worksheets for each account are correct and list the ST and LT gains and losses, covered and non-covered. But Form 8949 (copy 1 and copy 2) are missing some ST and LT entries. For example.
Form 8949 (copy 1):
PART 1: shows the correct ST covered G/L for account 1 & 3 but is missing ST covered G/L for accounts 2 & 4.

PART 2: shows the correct LT covered G/L for accounts 1 & 2 but is missing LT covered G/L for accounts 3 & 4.
Form 8949 (copy 2):
PART 1: N/A - had no ST non-covered G/L
PART 2: shows the correct LT non-covered G/L for accounts 3 & 4.
How can i fix this and get all the correct information into Form 8949?
Note I entered summary totals from the 1099-Bs for each account and some 1099-Bs have adjustments if that matters,

Thanks - makes sense now. Leave it to the IRS to be confusing.
