 &lt;LI&gt;&lt;STRONG&gt;Check Pop-up Blockers:&lt;/STRONG&gt; TurboTax often opens forms (like the 1099 PDF) or payment windows in a separate pop-up.       <description>&lt;P&gt;Thanks for your response which described that standard way of importing financial data.&amp;nbsp; I've done these steps many times with no success.&amp;nbsp; Trying 2 different financial companies.&amp;nbsp; Still no success.&amp;nbsp; There's something I'm not doing - setting a "flag", opening the financial company, using the wrong browser. etc - that keeps the import from working.&amp;nbsp; So, any suggestions?&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Larry Krebs&amp;nbsp; (30 year user of TurboTax).&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;I still cannot import financial data from TIAA, despite several hours of Turbotax help.&amp;nbsp; I get to "connected" but the "allow" button does not work so I can get no further.&amp;nbsp; I have tried disabling virus scans, got rid of cookies, changed LAN access to allow, changed browser from Chrome to Edge, checked with TIAA and there is nothing blocking on their side.&amp;nbsp; I cannot manually enter all the data I need to import, so I need Turbotax to fix this ASAP.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

 &lt;LI&gt;&lt;STRONG&gt;Use an Incognito (Private) Window:&lt;/STRONG&gt; This is the most effective "quick fix" because it launches the browser without any saved history or extensions (like AdBlockers) that often interfere with tax forms.&lt;/LI&gt;
 &lt;LI&gt;&lt;STRONG&gt;Check Pop-up Blockers:&lt;/STRONG&gt; TurboTax often opens forms (like the 1099 PDF) or payment windows in a separate pop-up. Look at the right side of your address bar for a small icon with a "red X"—click it and select &lt;STRONG&gt;"Always allow pop-ups from Intuit."&lt;/STRONG&gt;&lt;/LI&gt;
 &lt;LI&gt;&lt;STRONG&gt;Restart the Browser:&lt;/STRONG&gt; Close all open windows of your browser entirely and then reopen it.&lt;/LI&gt;
&lt;/UL&gt;
&lt;P&gt;Most TurboTax errors happen because the browser is trying to use an old "session" from a previous visit. By clearing the cache or using Incognito mode, you force the browser to establish a brand-new, secure connection with the Intuit servers.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN style="font-family:Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:14px;"&gt;If you received a "Success" message but your data hasn't appeared in TurboTax, it is likely due to recent browser security updates regarding &lt;STRONG&gt;Local Network Access&lt;/STRONG&gt;.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN style="font-family:Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:14px;"&gt;To fix this you need to allow TurboTax to securely retrieve your data through your browser settings:&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;

 &lt;LI&gt;&lt;SPAN style="font-family:Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:14px;"&gt;&lt;STRONG&gt;Brokerage Delays:&lt;/STRONG&gt; While most forms arrive by January 31, many brokerages delay &lt;STRONG&gt;Consolidated 1099s&lt;/STRONG&gt; (like the 1099-B) until &lt;STRONG&gt;mid-February&lt;/STRONG&gt; due to complex reporting requirements.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/LI&gt;
 &lt;LI&gt;&lt;SPAN style="font-family:Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:14px;"&gt;&lt;STRONG&gt;Availability:&lt;/STRONG&gt; Your brokerage must specifically "release" the import file to TurboTax. If it isn’t ready, we recommend checking back.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/LI&gt;
 &lt;LI&gt;&lt;SPAN style="font-family:Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:14px;"&gt;&lt;STRONG&gt;Connection Blocks:&lt;/STRONG&gt; Active &lt;STRONG&gt;VPNs&lt;/STRONG&gt; or aggressive &lt;STRONG&gt;Anti-Virus&lt;/STRONG&gt; software can occasionally block the import feature between your bank and TurboTax. Try disabling them temporarily or switching to a different browser.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/LI&gt;
