Installturbotax.com Won't Load

I bought Turbotax Home & Business from Costco. When I try to go to the Installturbotax.com the page hangs and won't load. It shows it is trying to load for several minutes but then it just shows a grey screen.

If you have the license code for the 2024 software you can try to download from this TurboTax website - https://turbotax.intuit.com/personal-taxes/cd-download/install-turbotax/

I tried using the link but I am having the same issue. I have tried it several n Brave and Chrome. I might try Bing to see if that works

I'm having the same problem. I can't get to the website so I can install the TurboTax I bought at Staples. I get the revolving circle for a while then a blank screen.

I've tried your link and get the same thing.

You can try these steps to resolve:

Clearing your Cache and Cookies
Using a different browser
Opening an Incognito Window

As of 3/22/2025 2PM-459PM 3 hours (current MST)... https://turbotax.intuit.com/personal-taxes/cd-download/install-turbotax/ & Installturbotax.com are not loading. Unable to download (Already Purchased) Deluxe Fed + State. Instructions from intuit, Amazon via intuit are non functional. Any helpful thoughts or working links would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!

Like many others, I enjoy my free time by doing my taxes, finding ways to give my hard earned money away to the state, federal government so they can give it to the poor rich people like Jeff Bezos, Elon, etc. It's frustrating that I'm unable to download this Intuit-perTurboed-Tax purchased product that would allow me to spend valuable time giving my money away. It's what any hardworking person would want to do, right?!? 🙂

*Seriously though, the download links are not working for me today.

I'm guessing this forum is more for expert tax support vs tech support? If you have any other ideas on how I can download, I'd appreciate it greatly! I tried in both Chrome and Safari starting with clearing the cache and cookies. Then deleting history, incognito mode/private browsing, VPN on & off, restarted browsers and computer, tried the link here and the redirect link (InstallTurboTax.com) from amazon.com after each step.

Safari shows "..Can't Open the Page..because the server where this page is located isn't responding", Chrome is blank.

Using macOS Sonoma 14.7.4 (2.4GHz Intel Core i9 2019 MBP) Purchased 2024 Deluxe Fed & state from amazon today, 3/22/25. Thank you for your time.

Hi All,

Installturbotax.com and the above link still didn't work after clearing Cache and Cookies, incognito, etc in Chrome, Safari and Bing. I thought 1 out of 3 popular browsers would work with the troubleshooting instructions and I wasted a day repeating the steps, grinding my teeth. Before switching to H&R Block, I tried a 4th browser for poo & giggles and it worked. Perhaps saying "try multiple different browsers" vs "try a different browser"..would be helpful for average tech savvy folks? Hope this saves some time and sanity for someone! Good day all

What Browser worked?

I've had the same problem and have used Edge, Chrome, and Bing. I've either got to rebuy as a download or switch to H&R Block.

I had to go to the installturbo tax website on my iPad and I was able to download the windows version. I had to upload it to my cloud, download it to my PC, and I was able to install it. Seems ridiculous to have to jump through these hoops. I was even using my Brave browser on the iPad.

That was a lot of effort on your part. I tried loading it on my phone and could get to the screen easily. I then turned off my VPN and somehow was finally able to get it loaded. Seriously considering a change in software for next year. This shouldn't be so hard.

Same problem. This fails on Windows 11 chrome and Edge. It works fine on an iPhone 16. Too bad, it doesn't run on the iPhone 16.

Can you fix this?

Clear cache on your browser.

Then there has to be something local on your system to prevent you from accessing the website. Turn off virus and malware protection. Turn off VPN if you are using. Use incognito mode or use Safe mode.

DuckDuckGo.com worked for me, without issue. It was the 4th browser I tried, ridiculous imo.

Safari, Chrome, Edge-all failed w clearing Cache/Cookies, reboot, vpn/no vpn, private/incognito x3

I thought I had a memory/graphics issue because, a 4th browser? Hours later, frustrated, Hail Mary-no expectations, duckduck immediately loaded the redirect from the InstallTTX.com, done.

*I have no idea if this info is relevant for a patch, or if intuit uses this for product improvement, # users affected, etc. If so: I'm on a Mac intel Sonoma 14. Back to work. Good luck all!

In addition to doing everying everyone else has suggested ... I ended up disabling MS Defender to access the webpage ... that did the trick.

Install and use the DuckDuckGo browser with default settings. Didn't have to mess with antivirus or VPN.

But TurboTax should fix this, even though I know they won't.

I had the same issue, and tried everything listed here ... still didnt work. Then I stopped 'MS Defender' and that fixed it ... seems microsoft sees that particular turbotax webpage as a security risk.
