I have also received this error. Neither my spouse nor I have an IP Pin from last year, but we never get a screen to insert her prior year AGI. Support tells me where to put it, but when I screenshare with them, they cannot even find the screen to enter it. No solution was found, please fix.

Your return rejected because the taxpayer's (or spouse's) Identifying Information is missing. In order to electronically file your return, Prior Year Identifying Information must be entered for the taxpayer (and for the spouse if applicable).

Open your tax file and go to File
Proceed to the screen, "Review Your Federal Filing Choices"
Review your Identifying Information (AGI)
If you filed a prior year return, you must enter the Prior Year AGI for the Taxpayer (and Spouse if applicable)
Do not use the tabs at the top of the screen to exit this interview.

Once you have made the necessary corrections, you may resubmit this return for electronic filing. If the reject continues, you may need to print and file this return by mail.

The File tab is on the left menu at the end of the return. Once you are there, the section to enter your AGI is the "Get ready to save and file your returns." Continue the section and you will get to the section of TurboTax where you will enter the information for the AGI.

When you first open your return, the whole menu on the left does not show open, it will only show Tax Home and Documents. You will need to select Tax home, for the rest of the menu to open.

Once you are there go to File, then proceed to the screen, "Review Your Federal Filing Choices". Review your Identifying Information (AGI). If you filed a prior year return, you must enter the Prior Year AGI for the Taxpayer (and Spouse if applicable). Do not use the tabs at the top of the screen to exit this interview. Error IND-027-02 indicates an incorrect (per the IRS) spouse's prior-year AGI or PIN.

Follow @LeticiaF1's excellent instructions above.

Open your return in TurboTax and click Tax Home. Select File and navigate to filing the tax return.

Update the spouse’s previous year’s AGI or PIN to match IRS records.

Close the 'Expert Assist' window with the X. Then you should see your Federal Return with 'Rejected' in red. Click on that to open the return.

In the left-side menu, click on File and step through to the screen to enter AGI.

When I click on the red "rejected" for my federal return nothing happens. I have tried to click on "Federal", "rejected", and every other area in the vicinity of those two words.

Sometimes you need to clear your cache (that is, remove these temporary files) because a full or corrupted cache can cause problems in TurboTax. You can try these steps if you are using the online version:

Clearing your Cache and Cookies
Using a different browser
Opening an Incognito Window

After you do this, to correct your last year's AGI and e-file your return:

Open your return
Select the File tab
Continue until you reach the screen that says To continue, select options below
Enter your corrected AGI in Enter last year's AGI here
Select Continue and follow the screens until you've re-transmitted your return

Hello!

I appreciate all the help and guided steps. I cleared all history and cookies, tried going on Google Chrome and Microsoft Edge, and opened an Incognito Window, and the result is still the same. Below is my screen -- I can't physically click on the "rejected" or anything that would allow me to proceed with correcting the efile issue.

Is there someone that I can get on the phone with to help resolve this issue?

I did that and entered my prior year AGI. The error was regarded to my spouse’s AGI which I do not see an option anywhere to enter it when going through file. It’s only letting me enter mine which then gets rejected again

In your case you will have to mail your return since you have not been able to verify your identity to be able to electronically file your return.
