Where can I add this to a return? My daughter is giving my son in law the 8332 but I cannot access where this information is after the child is listed as a non dependent.

Click on Federal Taxes (Personal using Home & Business)

Click on Other Tax Situations

Under Other Tax Forms

On Release or revocation of release of claim of exemption for a child, click the start button

I just have the deluxe version and I swear it’s not easy this year. I can’t even seem to access the worksheets The questions it’s asking do not trigger it. It tells me about the form but doesn’t take me there.

This is not something you enter on your tax return. It will only be needed if the IRS asks for it.
