Same here! I've been using turbo tax for years, this is a major inconvenience. I don't want to file by mail. What is going on?

I ended up retyping everything in the state rows and found a typo that once fixed let me continue.

The best way to fix this signature mismatch is to go back to your Personal Information section of TurboTax and re-enter your name. It should be entered exactly how it appears on your Social Security card to avoid any more future delays. Make sure there are no extra spaces, or special characters.

You can also try logging out of your program and clear your cache and cookies. ‌Please click here for instructions on how to clear your cache. Please click here for instructions on clearing your cookies. This process clears up a lot of issues.

I found the issue. My AGI did not match my 2024 tax return. I had amended my return last year and Turbo Tax had the amended AGI. Once I put in my original AGI, I was able to e-file.

I encountered this same issue. It turned out that for some reason, even though I entered my spouse's birth year correctly, the software was replacing their birth year with my birth year. I had to re-enter their birth year, and I was able to move on. So much for expecting a multi-billion dollar company to do any QA testing

Re-enter the state side info on the same screen to match the federal side. Lousy software, it should highlight the specific field that is off or contains a hidden character.
