Form 8615 Worksheet

I'm doing my daughter's taxes and have run across the 8615. If I go to the worksheet for that form on line 2b there is a 3,000 amount that will get deducted from line 1. I cannot figure out where this 3,000 dollars is coming from. She doesn't have 3,000 in earned income not included in line 2a as it states. She did have an inherited ira distribution last year but it too was not 3,000. Any thoughts out there??

The amount on line 2b of the Form 8316 worksheet is the amount that you entered on the screen shown below (or you entered it directly on the worksheet in forms mode).

Hmm, now that 3,000 and the entire 8615D worksheet is gone. I opened the return fresh this morning. Not sure what's going on and certainly don't remember 3000 in additional earned income for my daughter. Oh well, it's gone now.....

Seems all fixed. Maybe I entered something I didn't realize. Oh well, it's good now.
