Billing issue with unauthorized fees charged by TurboTax

I am looking at the TurboTax fees that they charged me. I did NOT authorize any of the fees that are being charged to me. It should have been $89 (like it has always been in past) but this year I have been charged $164!!!

How do I get them to correct this?

Interesting I have the exact issue! NEVER did i ask or accept for "expert online assistance" to file the taxes filled out on my own. Hope you get it figured out im having problems trying to.

Having the same issue. I was charged a $79 "online expert assistant deluxe 2025" which i never asked or signed up for neither did I agree to that service. Very upset having to try dealing with this now.

@Mikenp Hopefully you have not paid with a credit card or requested to have your fees paid from the tax refund

When i agreed to the fees its was 79.00 for federal and state 40.00 now that my federal hit my bank intuit taxes charged 179.52 which is a over charged of 100.52 i did not agreed to this

You did good. I got over charged $159 and have been on hold with customer service for almost 45 minutes. I'm furious.

I didn’t either. What did you do. I’ve been on hold for over two hours. Someone came on and asked the problem told me they were looking into it and would be right back and it’s been almost an hour and a half. I’m furious

I. Have been billed for filing a Virgina state return. I had no need to file in Virginia. I filed in South Carolina where I live

Intuit is stealing from people. I was overcharged, I did not select the add-on expert service AND they did not allow me to review order. Will NEVER use again but will report them for Fraud to IRS and FTC - it’s criminal
