      <description>&lt;P&gt;I HAD RETURNED TO COSTCO THIS INVALID TURBO TAX LICENSE NUMBER AND GIVING ME ERROR 606, AND CAME BACK TODAY WITH THE SAME MESSAGE???? I CALLED TURBO TAX LAST WEEK THEY SAID I'M NOT THE ONLY ONE.....AND THEY TOLD ME TO GET A NEW ONE... BUT IT HAPPENED AGAIN!!!&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Error code 606 means you are entering an invalid license code. Did you purchase Desktop Software or Online Software? There is a difference between a License Code (for Desktop) and an Activation Code (for Online). You are trying to enter a Code for TurboTax Online in a Desktop software (or vice-versa).&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;Look on your box from Staples and it will distinguish between TurboTax Online and TurboTax Desktop. They are not the same software, and codes from one cannot be used in the other.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;If your box is for TurboTax Online, you can activate your code to your account on&amp;nbsp;&lt;A href="https://shop.app.intuit.com/activate?rootProfile=ca&amp;amp;locale=en-ca" target="_blank"&gt;this link&lt;/A&gt;.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
