The form to e-file to request an extension is not yet available. It becomes available around mid-March.

Use the IRS website and you will get immediate confirmation directly from the IRS.

It is now April 11 and I still don't see any ability to e-file a Form 4868 extension.

Thank you. I did find that and have filed my extension by that method. However the desktop version of TurboTax still does not allow filing online. That is a bummer for me.
