R0000-504-02 Error

I have a phantom Dependent and SSN in my return causing errors after attempting to file. I was initially filing with that person but decided not to, and can't seem to remove them despite thinking I've done it.

The person and SSN is not listed in my dependents, but is still listed as an error to fix, yet am unable to delete that person from my forms. Am using the Mac desktop app, and this is INCREDIBLY frustrating. Anyone know how to fix this?

If you have Desktop, go to the FORMs mode.

I don't have a MACH, but I think the program is similar.

In FORMs mode
On the left side near the top
You will see Personal Wks (Name)
If the name of the phantom individual is there, Highline it
Then Delete Form (Located at the bottom of the page).

Thanks, there were multiple issues going on and had to call into support to figure it out. Biggest issue is the messaging isn't clear at all how to fix the issue. Turns out there was incorrect information somehow cached onto the return, which I couldn't remove, in addition to one incorrect number on a SSN that should have been part of the return. So it looked like the cached dependent that I thought had been removed was continually the issue, when in fact it wasn't.
