How do I delete an entry for "Qualified business net (loss) carry forward from the prior year" (Line 3 on Form 8995) for a business that I no longer have? I still need to file Form 8995 for "Qualified REIT dividends" (Line 6). I tried deleting the entry in Forms but it did not work.

There are some ways to remove the Form.

The easiest one is:

By selecting Tax Tools in the left menu, choose Tools.
Then, select Delete ‌form.
Find Form you want to remove in the list, and click Delete.

Hi, As I noted in my original question, I still need to file Form 8995 for "Qualified REIT dividends, which is Line 6. Are you suggesting I delete the form entirely and then re-enter the information I need to file on Line 6?

I think I solved this. The entry can be deleted on the Federal Carryover Worksheet.
