    <description>&lt;P&gt;I am trying to Efile for 2025 Home &amp;amp; Business version.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I am getting this error&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;FAILD_VALIDATION Error code 54.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;There is an update available for your version of TurboTax.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Before you can file electronically, you'll need to get the update.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;below is what I did&lt;/P&gt;&lt;UL class=""&gt;&lt;LI&gt;&lt;SPAN class=""&gt;&lt;STRONG&gt;Update Software:&lt;/STRONG&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/SPAN&gt;Go to the&lt;SPAN&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;STRONG&gt;Online&lt;/STRONG&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/SPAN&gt;menu and select&lt;SPAN&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;STRONG&gt;Check for Updates&lt;/STRONG&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/SPAN&gt;to ensure you have the latest version.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/LI&gt;&lt;LI&gt;&lt;SPAN class=""&gt;&lt;STRONG&gt;Turn Off Security Software:&lt;/STRONG&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/SPAN&gt;Temporarily disable VPNs, firewalls, and antivirus software (e.g., Norton) while updating and filing.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/LI&gt;&lt;LI&gt;&lt;SPAN class=""&gt;&lt;STRONG&gt;Run Manual Update:&lt;/STRONG&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/SPAN&gt;If automatic updates fail, use the manual update feature in TurboTax.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/LI&gt;&lt;LI&gt;&lt;SPAN class=""&gt;&lt;STRONG&gt;Reinstall the Application:&lt;/STRONG&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/SPAN&gt;Perform a "clean install" by uninstalling, downloading a fresh installer from your&lt;SPAN&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;&lt;A class="" href="https://ttlc.intuit.com/community/business-taxes/discussion/error-code-54/00/3472817" target="_blank" rel="noopener"&gt;MyDownloads folder&lt;/A&gt;&lt;/SPAN&gt;, and reinstalling.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/LI&gt;&lt;LI&gt;&lt;SPAN class=""&gt;&lt;STRONG&gt;Restart/Reboot:&lt;/STRONG&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/SPAN&gt;Restart your computer, sometimes multiple times, to clear stuck configuration files.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/LI&gt;&lt;LI&gt;&lt;SPAN class=""&gt;&lt;STRONG&gt;Run as Administrator:&lt;/STRONG&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/SPAN&gt;Right-click the TurboTax icon and select "Run as Administrator".&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;SPAN class=""&gt;&lt;SPAN class=""&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;DIV class=""&gt;&lt;DIV class=""&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/DIV&gt;&lt;/DIV&gt;&lt;/LI&gt;&lt;/UL&gt;&lt;P&gt;2. I uninstall and re-installed. I do not want to do this (more than 5 time) to use up the 5 installations.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I do not have any 84xx form&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Please help!!!&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Great job troubleshooting! I found one more thing you can try. Turn off the Windows Virus and Threat Protection features in the Control Panel.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Turbo tax said there is an issue with the problem. They patch the issues and I did an update. The E-file went thru.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I suggest to e-file early do not wait until 4/14. Otherwise, you have to mail your tax in. You paid for the e-file service already. Do it early and post the money on 4/15 if you owe Uncle Sam. This is my suggestion.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Good luck&lt;/P&gt;</description>
