Pd $29- expert final review. Expert called-dropped midway. No call back. cust service can't find expert- suggested a refund thru a link. Refund rejected. How to handle?

$29 is for an expert final review, as suggested by Turbo Tax. The expert didn't reach closure. call got dropped and no call back. no way to reach the expert back. Feel like I paid $29 for nothing. Customer service wasn't helpful to reach the same expert or another. and they suggested the refund and even said the refund would be approved. Then the refund is rejected - with no way to follow up. Very bad customer service for sure. How to handle this?

The experience from Turbo Tax so far has been horrible. Appreciate the link to the customer service -- but it is a generic help page with a phone number. I was a given a specific link to submit a request for a refund for the expert review. When I submitted a refund, it was immediately rejected - without any links or instructions to appeal or escalate. It would have been a lot easier to follow up from the refund rejected email itself - with full context for the issue. Now I am calling the customer service number (which I already knew) and the first thig the system tells me is I have not filed my return. I already know I have not filed a return. And there are no instructions to ask for the right help. The voice recognition could not help me talk to agent. After 20 minutes to fight with the help number, I am in queue now with the wait time between 15 and 55 minutes. Really???

Got to be worst customer experience.

Did you ever get a resolution?
I used Expert Final Review and the cost was $39. Spoke with Expert and they lied to me. They said I made up a tax section of the IRS (section 70103), sent articles in regards to it FROM THE IRS website and they said it wasn't real. They didn't know what they were talking about, back tracked and said it was real but I didn't qualify and all I was looking for was how to find it on my taxes. They said they didn't give me advice. Asked to speak to their manager, they said they would call in 24 to 48hrs....its been a week

Anyone know how to speak with someone about removing the $39 charge for "expert final review". Oh and I have the transcript.

I never got a response - other than the first response saying I should call an 800 number. it is the same number to get customer service and when I called I was placed on a long hold again. The issue is never resolved. The support has been very abysmal. I gave up on my $29... free money to Intuit.
