      <description>&lt;P&gt;You would have to ask the issuer of the form for a code, as the code in box 7 is critical to determine how the distribution is taxed.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;something seems wrong. there is no sick pay box on form 1099-R. there is a box 13 for sick on form W-2.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;if it is a 1099-R there should be a code in box 7. Turbotax will not accept leaving box 7 blank&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;disability payments are taxable if your employer paid premiums and did not include in wages (line 1)&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;or paid by you for which you obtained a tax deduction.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;Non-taxable premiums paid by the taxpayer that were not deducted, including after-tax contributions to an employer-sponsored plan and employer-paid contributions if taxed to the employee.&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>
