I keep getting my return rejected because my spouse's AGI does not match the IRS's records and 'The IRS has already rejected this number: $0'. I have gone through the prompts several times and put in the correct AGI the I have on the IRS's account transcript for my spouse, which is not $0, but it always says get's rejected and Turbotax says 'The IRS has already rejected this number: $0' rather than the number I put in. I even tried putting in $0 since I saw that as a solution to other spouse AGI problems, but that did not work either. I would rather not mail in my return if possible.

It seems like you already tried a lot of the possible solutions and one thing that you could check is, if she filed an amended return for 2024, then you need to use the AGI from the original return. According How do I find last year's AGI? Turbo Tax help article, there are other scenarios that could help you figure out what the correct AGI could be:

Don't calculate your AGI from your W-2s or 1099s.

If you amended last year, don’t use the AGI from that amended return. Always get it from the first return you filed, even if that AGI was technically incorrect (for example, if you forgot a W-2).

If you printed and mailed your return and it wasn't processed by mid-December, then enter 0 for your 2024 AGI.

If you filed a return last year, but somebody claimed you as a dependent, enter the AGI showing on your return for last year (not theirs).

If you filed jointly last year but separately this year, enter the AGI from last year’s return. The same goes for recently-widowed or divorced taxpayers who filed jointly last year.

If you're filing jointly this year but selected married filing separately last year, enter each spouse's individual AGIs from last year. This also applies to newlywed couples.

If you're a first-time filer over the age of 16, enter 0 as your AGI.

If you efiled or printed and mailed your return and it was processed after the October deadline, enter 0 for your AGI.

If you didn't file a tax return in 2024, enter 0 for last year's AGI.

If none of these help, you will have to file a paper return.

it seems separate returns were filed in 2024; otherwise, the AGI would be the same for both.

The transcript should reflect an amended return AGI if it has been processed. However, I think the IRS wants the AGI from the original return. State returns, on the other hand, are a mixed bag. Also, recheck the SSN entered for her, though I doubt this is the issue.

Sometimes there is a total disconnect between what is and what the IRS wants. Such situations are not correctable and require paper filing.
