    <description>&lt;UL&gt;&lt;LI&gt;In TurboTax Home &amp;amp; Business 2025, I was able to select "Merrill" from the list of banks or brokerages and was able to login successfully when requested. Then I selected my Merrill's account and hit the Continue button. Then I was able to provide consent on sharing data with Merrill Lynch by putting a check mark on "....Share my data..." statement and hit "Share my data" button to continue. Then the new page is displayed. This page contained Merrill Lynch website link, phone number, some statements, an option to turn On/Off for auto download if file is available, and an OK button. On this page I then turned on the option for auto download and hit Ok button, but it didn't do anything after that. There is no download or import and no status at all. I have tried this process several times already and all were unsuccessful. I even changed to a different browser (Chrome or Firefox) and disabled virus software or firewall, then same unsuccessful results.&amp;nbsp; I was able to import from Bank of America and Charles Schwab successfully, but not Merrill Lynch. Maybe my TurboTax data is not ready even though my PDF file is available now for downloading from Merrill website.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/LI&gt;&lt;/UL&gt;</description>

If you are interested, then see the video below. You can skip the 1st half video to prepare the CSV file because you can download the CSV file from Merrill too. This YouTube video showed how convert 1099-B PDF file to TXF file for tax preparation software by first converting PDF to CSV; then converting CSV to TXF with online tool from website, 1099bimporter.com. I have been with Merrill Lynch for a decade already and never have problem with downloading for TurboTax software until this year. Oh well I had already created my 1099-B form for TurboTax a few weeks ago by following that YouTube video as a direction. I only wasted 1 hour for it. I chose this route for my tax 2025 because I have no choice.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

Everything works at the Merrill end, I get an email from Merrill saying I have given Intuit permission, but then Turbotax says it has failed and to try again in a few hours.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;To add insult to injury, the phone number Turbotax says to call is Merrill not Intuit. That is not support.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;UPDATE - Mar 26, 2026&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I too have REPEATEDLY over a 2-week period AT VARIOUS times of DAY\NIGHT attempted to import my Merrill Lynch Brockerage account tax forms into TurboTax and it fails.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;- I have disabled everything imaginable on my desktop&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Anti virus, AdBlock Plus, enabled 3rd party cookies.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Turbotax finds Merrill, I enter Merrill Userid\PIN and click the box share my data&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;and after 30 seconds receive the Merrill message&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;DIV class=""&gt;&lt;H2 id="idx-headline-title"&gt;Merrill is currently unavailable&lt;/H2&gt;&lt;/DIV&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN class=""&gt;There’s likely a technical issue or high traffic volume at their website. If this error persists for more than a few hours, contact us. (105)&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN class=""&gt;It is a Merrill I.T. issue and I am done with investing with Merrill for this VERY reason.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN class=""&gt;I just began investing with them through a Fund manager recommended to me who is useless after he signed me up and doesnt respond to my emails for assistance.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN class=""&gt;GOING BACK TH BNY...&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Same here 9Mar 26, 2026)&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I've tried many times over the last 2 weeks and various times getting the same message that Merrill is unavailable...&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I called their horrible support and the depth of their knowledge is&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;"Clear your browsers cache and Temp IE files and try again". How elementary for tech support.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;As a retired 35 year I.T. Architect I'm fluent in ensuring there is nothing on my desktop preventing the API connection from TurboTax to My Merrill account.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;TurboTax is able to import my BofA, BNY\MELLON, Vanguard with NO problem.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;This Merrill company is NOT long.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I contacted my Merrill Rep today and informed him "Merrill has NOTHING up on any other brokerage fund managers and I am TERMINATING my account relationship with Merrill and going 100% allocation with BNY\MELLON where I have been a client of theirs since 1980 with ZERO issues.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;MERRILL \ BofA&amp;nbsp; S U C K S&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;I tried switching to safari and it still didn't work.&amp;nbsp; I called Merrill and they said they problem isn't on their end.&amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp; I am using the desktop version so I don't know if that makes a difference..&amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;DID ANYONE FIND A FIX HERE?&amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;I get the same message, try again in a few hours. I am using Edge. I called Merrill and TT, both said that it is a known problem on TT side. I received an email from TT saying it was updated, so I tried today, and the same exact result. Very frustrating!&lt;/P&gt;</description>
