I am a nominee for LP and 1099 DA from coinbase is on my name and SS# , IRS requires me to file the same 1099 form as nominee to the LP, as the 1099 I received, but no one supports 1099 DA filing, any idea what to do ?

Yes. When the Coinbase transaction(s) is listed on the limited partner (LP) return you will name it 'Nominee 1099-DA SSN' (your SSN) and report the transaction. This will give enough information on the LP return and on your return just keep the details in your tax file should you need them later.

Thanks so much for the reply, so if I understand you correctly, you say do NOT file 1099 DA or other form of 1099 like 1099 B for example in this case... just use 'Nominee 1099-DA SSN' (your SSN) when reporting transaction on 8949 and keep records. Thank again

FYI tax1099 and other vendors now offer 1099 DA individuals can file, which I believe is the cleanest way to do as nominee. It was not available a month ago.
