8949 box letters incorect

received an 8949 from a crypto accounting website that has the box letter wrong for both short term and long term gains because of this new 1099 DA.

does anyone know if it matters if you choose the letter for 1099 DA without basis vs no 1099 DA with no basis for each crypto transaction?

The 1099-DA has been filed as is with the IRS. If the long term/short term is incorrect as well as the basis then you should request a corrected form.

The 8949 is incorrect not the 1099 DA

box letters are I but should be H

basis is not reported

Sorry. I misunderstood. When you are entering the data into the system you should have the option to adjust those entries. Has the import function just imported all of the transactions into the wrong sections?
