I'm not sure if you tried to file yourself, or if you had an expert do it for you.

If you filed yourself, it will indicate that when you open your return.

To check the status of your tax return and refund, you should use the Where’s My Refund Website.

If you had us prepare your return for you, you will have to contact the preparer.
